We have a new owner and a new concept, this ensures you a relaxing and comfortable stay in scenic surroundings. Our hotel is located close to the Horsens South motorway exit and offers plenty of free parking spaces, also for company cars.

Our new concept

We have changed different things slightly to give you a more flexible and independent experience:

• No reception: We have removed the reception and replaced keys with digital locks. (This will be ready soon).
• Self-service: There is no daily room service, but you can get new bed linen or towels by contacting our service phone.
• Food and drink: Find food and drinks in the fridge or freezer and pay online.

Rooms

We offer different room types, all with lovely new bedding, duvets, and pillows:

• Standard rooms: 22 rooms with views of nature, most with double beds and the possibility of extra beds.
• Handicap-friendly rooms: 2 rooms with single beds, large bathrooms, and direct access without stairs (ground level).
• Budget rooms in the villa: 4 rooms, including single and double rooms with shared or private bathroom.

Facilities in the villa

The villa offers shared living and kitchen facilities, a washing machine, and a dryer. There are also tables and chairs for dining, sofas for relaxation, TV, playing cards, and much more. The villa is open from morning until 10 PM.

Food & drink

The room price includes a make-your-own breakfast. Until December 10th, 2024, breakfast will be served in our restaurant in the main building. After this date, we will move the breakfast facilities to our new villa with homely surroundings.

Breakfast will consist of homemade sourdough rolls in 3 varieties. The rolls just need to be cut and toasted – then they are super good. There will be cheese, jam, butter, and nutella. You can always brew coffee, cocoa, and tea. Juice is always available in the fridge.

Simple and good.

Trusty bar & food

Our fridge is filled with beer, soda, wine, and other drinks that you can buy by scanning a QR code and paying online. There are also homemade dishes and snacks that you can heat in the microwave.

Welcome to Korning Kro

Korning Kro is a traditional Danish inn with a large kitchen that can prepare food for up to 1000 guests a day. We are looking for a dedicated tenant to run the inn and bring new life to the historic premises.

Tenant wanted

We are looking for a tenant who can:

• Offer lunch arrangements for 300-800 people daily for local businesses.
• Provide food for parties, both in-house and for takeaway.
• Host conferences, elections, funerals, and other events.
• Offer catering for special occasions such as Mortensaften, Christmas lunches, and similar events.

The inn can also be used in other ways – we are open to your ideas and suggestions.

Party rooms

Korning Kro has 5 party rooms that have been used for all kinds of gatherings over the past 50 years. We want to continue this tradition in a modern way.

Host your party with us

Do you want to host a party without the hassle of cleaning up your living room or renting a tent? We offer a simple solution:

• Choose one of our rooms, which can accommodate from 35 to 250 guests.
• We agree on a price for room rental including tables, chairs, and service.
• You get access to the room at 2 PM on the day and must finish cleaning up by 10 AM the next day.
• We can provide tablecloths, candlesticks, candles, napkins, etc.
• We cooperate with a catering company that delivers delicious food at reasonable prices.
• You are responsible for setting the tables and cleaning up after the party.
• We take care of the final cleaning and dishwashing for an hourly fee.

Other events

Our rooms can also be used for other purposes such as singing, dancing, hunting associations, funerals, club meetings, elections, or larger events with full catering and staff.
